The manufacturer characterises its new product very clearly and succinctly: “intuitive, modular, scalable”. Actually, he should add: “practical and likeable”. Because that’s what it is, the WHAT IF WE FLY product family. The furniture range behaves like its human users in the office world, is individual, flexible, geared towards productivity and mobile. It is mainly made of steel and untreated wood, with 98 per cent of the material being recyclable. The user-centred and modular design makes it easy and natural to use in everyday working life – whether as a shelf, table or seating furniture, whether as a monitor or whiteboard, combined with a Velcro/fleece system. Contact points and work surfaces are ergonomically positioned at handle and hip height. The stability is obvious – you can see it in the individual elements. And as far as the design is concerned: it’s really likeable.
