Take part in Best Workspaces 2026

. . . the first international architecture award for intelligent working environments and office buildings. The winners will receive extensive media coverage and publication in the high-quality yearbook and on the website. They will be announced at the ceremony in March 2026.

Since 2020, we have been awarding the world’s most impressive office concepts in the form of a yearbook. Architects, interior designers, project developers, builders, property developers and clients have the chance to submit their successful projects to the Best Workspaces competition once again, face the judgment of the expert jury and win an extensive media package. We are looking for the 50 best workspaces and office buildings that, at best, have not yet been published in a book. Several projects can be submitted. Participation is 390 euros. In the event of an award, a usage fee of 3,900 euros for the media package is due.

The Prize

The award-winning architects and clients presented in the book receive a comprehensive package of media formats for corporate communication:

  • Editorial publication in the yearbook
  • Own microsite on the website
  • Award winners seal for website, newsletter, letters, etc.
  • Short clips for online communication
  • Prize trophy
  • Rights of use for text material from the publication and image material from the award ceremony
  • 10 copies of the yearbook valued at 980 euros and a discount on reorders
  • Submissions will be accepted via our online tool Awardforce up to and including August 7, 2025.

  • Angelika Donhauser: Henning Larsen Architects, Last year’s winner
  • Jörg Staff: Board of the German Society for Human Resource Management
  • Prof. Rudolf Schricker: Interior Designer
  • Johanna Neves Pimenta: Editor-in-Chief of md INTERIOR DESIGN ARCHITECTURE
  • Dr. Stefan Rief: Head of Research Department of Organizational Development and Work Design, Fraunhofer IAO
  • Dr. Robert Nehring: Editor-in-Chief OFFICE ROXX and OFFICE DEALZZ
  • Prof. Dr. Andreas K. Vetter: Architectural historian and author

Architects’ Choice – We are looking for the Best Products in 2026!

The best products of the year will also be awarded in the “Architects’ Choice” competition. It focuses exclusively on the companies and manufacturers involved in the office sector. The aim is to create more public awareness of the importance of the products used, as they are a prerequisite for successful office buildings and working environments. Companies in the industry can submit products in the following categories until November 27, 2025:

  • Tools & software
  • Hygiene concept
  • Office furniture
  • Accessories & organization
  • Noise protection
  • Lighting
  • Technical Equipment
  • Innovation of the year

In the event of an admission to the online voting and publication in the book, participants pay 3,900 euros for the media package:

  • Chance to win the “Solution of the Year” award
  • Prize trophy and seal for website, newsletter, letters, etc.
  • Advertorial in the yearbook with 2 pages
  • Own microsite on the website
  • Award-winner-short-clip for communication
  • Editorial connection to presented projects in the book
  • 10 copies of the yearbook valued at 980 euros and a discount on reorders
