A Space for the Blockchain Community

A former post office in Berlin Kreuzberg, built in 1927 and now a listed building, is home to FULL NODE, a contemporary co-working space for blockchain start-ups and freelancers, crypto keepers and entrepreneurs. Spanning a generous 1,000 square meters, it offers a varied, non-hierarchical structure of traditional offices and open co-working areas. This allows for both concentrated work and communication: sharing information is key to the blockchain community. There are designated spaces for workshops, events and meetings, brainstorming rooms, lounges, telephone booths, so-called audio boxes and even napping pods for a quick refresher while on the job.

Contemporary Aesthetics

LXSY ARCHITEKTEN, the designers behind FULL NODE, gave the space a decidedly contemporary look, which is as playful as it is functional. Carefully chosen, timeless materials, subtle contrasts and finely crafted details contribute to creating a high-quality work environment. The idea of ​​networking is cleverly translated into the design language and structure, as can especially be seen in the spatial continuum of the central zone or the theme of blocks and chains in the inscriptions on the interior glass walls – the blockchain code runs through the room to create a visual orientation system and also a sense of identity.
