Large glass panes set in wooden frames allow views both in and out — there is activity here again. To the side, directly next to the building, stands a former showroom pavilion, constructed in a formally restrained reinforced concrete structure, with three floor-to-ceiling windows facing east. This too has now been incorporated as an extension of the office location. The 51-square-meter layout is designed for two employees. The front area accommodates the entrance and the two required computer workstations. In the central zone of the single-storey structure, a walk-in furniture cube spatially separates the rear conference area, where a height-adjustable meeting table allows not only conventional बैठ बैठकर meetings but also standing discussions, for example around models or plans. The multifunctional cube is visually set apart from the ceiling by an illuminated shadow gap. Integrated into its furniture fronts are a pantry kitchen and a display shelf for a selection of material samples. The framing material of the pantry — blackened stainless steel — extends seamlessly into the integrated sink. Inside the cube are a toilet as well as a printer and storage room, which can be opened to the outside via a double door. In front of the central window of the workspace stands a wooden bench with additional display space, where trays with color and material collages can be placed. The pavilion’s color concept consists of three components: the warm, earthy brown tone of the strip parquet flooring, a medium blue-gray as the central color, and wallpaper with a floral motif in the same tone. For acoustic reasons, the end wall of the conference area is finished with a seamlessly applied textile covering in a light denim shade. Visitors are warmly welcome.
