Inspired by website design
Von Helden und Gestalten, a Stuttgart-based advertising agency, strengthens brands and encourages clients to build a strong identity. The agency’s own website design inspired the interior concept of the new office space. Architectural practice SOMAA playfully transformed its graphic principles into a spatial structure that creates a dynamic across the premises.
Courageous and strong
Entry to the office is via the reception, the centerpiece of the interior. Featuring lashed straps and building sprouts, the space possesses strong sculptural qualities. From here, the sculpture develops ‘spurs’, which meander through the premises in the form of a graphically applied gold ribbon. This ribbon leads visitors further into the world of Von Helden und Gestalten – such as the creative area, where the straps are used as a room divider, or the lounge aka kitchen, a room completely dipped in black. Profane ‘ready-mades’ such as props, pallets and webbings create a striking urban atmosphere that reflects the principles of the agency in a spatial context: courage, strength and a sense of identity.
